One of the most enchanting experiences of Marrakech was the great influence of rose perfume. Rooms smelled like roses, after meals they washed our hands in rose water and our hotel had the most amazing bowl of floating roses that took my breath away every time. A Journey and a Dream~
It was only a moment ago we were riding through the Agafay Desert on the back of a camel, putting rose oil on our damp summer skin and wondering the long winding halls of the souk. The inspiration we found in Morocco has settled in my mind as that of a dream. The things we bought lay around me and as I look at these artifacts I know that somewhere in Marrakech a woman is living that dream I once dreamed…
