While in Charleston shooting Helen Rice as part of our “Inspiring Women” series, we stayed at the most beautiful historic boutique hotel you could ever imagine down south, Zero George. Just a short walk from the thriving shops and restaurants of Meeting & King streets and perfectly renovated to balance the original wood floor planks to our much needed modern amenities, it’s just the kind of place you would call a home away from home…
Below: Kevin’s overnight bag, handcrafted in Turkey. We have recently discovered the San Francisco based brand Cuyana, an online only shop that sells directly to consumers. This means they create high quality items with top craftsmen around the globe (the ones luxury brands use, making products like you would find in Barney’s!) but at a fraction of the cost. I’m so in love with them!
Below: My new carry-all-everyday-tote which is AMAZING for travel. I personally love the extreme simplicity and super high quality material. And being from the South originally, I love anything monogrammed.
Beyond excited to see these beautiful photos pop up in my feedly – we just booked our stay at Zero George two days ago for our February trip to Charleston!
Have an amazing time! It’s just beyond lovely!

I’m sure you have answered this before so I apologize if this is the millionth time you’ve been asked, but where is that camera strap from? I’ve been looking for something smaller and more streamlined than the big bulky straps you normally see and the one in your photo looks great.
Hi Stacy! here is a link to the camera strap:
