The Traveling Camera Bag

Kevin and I have been traveling a lot lately for cinemagraph shoots and I needed a bigger, stronger camera bag for all the gear we’ve had to bring along. Usually the idea of backpacks and camera bags horrify me (which is why I usually carry this cutie) until ONA made one that functionally is perfect for my needs and is good looking! Pockets for lipstick and iPhones, soft but structured inside for cameras and lenses, and top pouch for our laptop! It’s heaven!

PS- Kevin is modeling in most of these photos as this bag is his favorite of all my camera bags. Plus he’s handsome. *blushes*

My Camera Bag

It’s been about 15 years of carrying around cameras for me and I’ve done it all: Backpacks, vintage camera bags (that break), big black “I’m a photographer can’t you tell” bags that don’t match anything I own, small touristy camera bags, and for the last 10 years my purse turned into a camera bag. FINALLY my search has ended…

ONA– so simple, great size, classic, soft with two handle options. This is my new camera bag designed by a photographer with a passion to always have a camera but be chic too… I’m over the moon.

ONA’s Definition:

In Swahili, the word ona (pronounced ō’na) means, “to feel,” “to believe,” and “to experience with the eyes.” This is the essence of photography and style.

ONA’s Philosophy:
“We believe that your camera bags and accessories should be discreet, stylish, and functional. They should complement, not distract from, your personal style. They should be rich and imaginative, like the photos you love to take. And they should boast an enduring design that allows you to carry your gear safely and comfortably”
