The Goddess

Of august gold-wreathed and beautiful

Aphrodite I shall sing to whose domain

belong the battlements of all sea-loved

Cyprus where, blown by the moist breath

of Zephyros, she was carried over the

waves of the resounding sea on soft foam.

The gold-filleted Horae happily welcomed

her and clothed her with heavenly raiment.”

Central Park, Quiet as the Falling Snow

A blanket of snow covered New York City yesterday and transformed what is already a beautiful park into a magical white wintery dream. Nature herself transformed into a perfect black and white vision that I hoped to capture when I set out on a walk through Manhattan’s Central Park.
