I love getting up close to the clothes to see the magical little details that are so fleeting on the runway. Here are 4 presentations I stopped by at NYFW:
Nonoo
This adorable British designer, Misha Nonoo, was inspired by a childhood trip to Havana, Cuba with its crumbling facades and faded colors from the relentless sun.
Watching Alice + Olivia founder Stacey Bendet fill her sketch book with mini skirt sketches and fabric swatches inspired by the dainty and decadent indulgence of the Magnum Mini ice cream bar. This fall, one of the skirts she is sketching will come to life at NYFW and bring back the mini on our bodies and in our bellies!
In partnership with Magnum Ice Cream designer Stacey Bendet, who is the whimsical designer behind Alice + Olivia!, is creating a mini skirt inspired by Magnum’s Mini Ice Cream Bars which will be unveiled this fall at New York Fashion Week to go along with this sweet-treat accessory. A ‘Mini’ skirt and a MAGNUM Mini, sounds like we have a lot of fun to look forward to!
