I couldn’t resist shooting the beautiful colors and textures of these farmers market vegetables. I especially loved the wooden crates and chaotic piles in contrast to the perfectly stacked pyramids at grocery stores where I always want the one that causes the avalanche.

This weekend I took a stroll though the Brooklyn Flea under the Brooklyn Bridge. It was a nice change from the Manhattan markets I’ve been too which are terribly priced and over crowded. Here there was room to play, nice vendors, wonderful local food stands and bargain treasures… plus, you can’t beat the location.
